The Kiosk

In 1859 to 1860, Karl Tomaselli built our “Kiosk” onto a corner of the “Residenz” wing and surrounded it with a ring of chestnut trees. The Archbishop Johann Ernst Graf Thun held a folk festival in 1699 here, in celebration of the visit of the bride of Kaiser Josef I, in which it is reputed that wine was flowing from the public fountain!

The Kiosk is open from May to September.
