











Bakery
In the bakery, we attach great importance to the use of quality and regional products. The curd cheese is prepared for us personally by our organic farmers; the eggs are delivered daily by the egg lady, the home-made puff pastry for the hearty nut buns and nut croissants prepared daily on the first floor.
An insider tip is the famous Tomaselli Croissant (spicy with ham, onions and herbs), available on Saturday or on prior order. During the Salzburg Carnival period (1st January to Good Friday) you can look forward to home-made juicy Carnival Doughnuts.
One example of a rare delicacy is the wild strawberry gateau which is only available in the summer months. The tasty little wild strawberries are very delicate and only to be found for a short period. Great things about Austrian “pastries” are mentioned in many books: Gabriel Barylli writes in her (German language) novel for instance “Wer liebt, dem wachsen Flügel” about the difficulty of eating a cream slice at Café Tomaselli!
