Ice cream

Café Tomaselli also has a long-standing ice-cream-making tradition, dating back to the 18th century. Then, we were already offering delicious fruit flavours. These days, when the red currant with its refreshingly sweet berry is in season in the south of Austria, our home-made ice-cream maker gets really busy.

The vanilla ice cream is especially creamy and tasty and helps to make the one of the best ice coffees in Salzburg. Our delicious ice cream sundaes are decorated with home-made lady fingers (Tomaselli Cup and Fruit Ice-Cream Sundae) or our home-made meringue figures ( a harp for the Yogurt Sundae and the Angel Sundae “sanfter Engel”.
