Celebrity guests

During the Festival in particular, there are a host of international celebrities at Café Tomaselli making their forays into the infinite realms of the traditional cake-baking trade.

For many literary figures and intellectuals, the Tomaselli became a second home in the second half of the 20th century where they wrote, met up, read newspapers or played chess. Leopold Kohr was amongst the visitors, also Heinrich Waggerl, Peter Rosegg, Erich Landgrebe, Thomas Bernhard or Bernhard Paumgartner.
